This natural stone has been used since Antiquity for its great resistance over time. It is a material that is not afraid of water. This stone is also regularly chosen for swimming pools or bathrooms. There are several shades of travertine. At KaloNest, we offer Beige travertine, very popular in the 70s, travertine is now making a big comeback on the decoration scene!

KaloNest travertine is light beige.
Travertine is a porous material. At KaloNest we choose to fill the pores with resin so that it is more suitable for daily life.
KaloNest travertine is polished to a matte finish. This step is very important to highlight the beautiful marbling of the stone and bring out its golden blond color. Without this step, the travertine would have a gray appearance and no mottling.
This travertine console is treated with waterproofing to withstand daily use. To clean your console, use a mild soap (like basic regular soap) and a damp cloth. As with wood or marble, you should not apply acidic products such as vinegar, lemon, or alcohol. If you make a stain, clean it immediately otherwise it may mark. To prevent any marks, we recommend using coasters.
